SalesM8 aggregates publicly available Australian government data: development applications from state planning portals, contract winners from AusTender, and business registrations from ASIC and the Australian Business Register (ABR). All sources are authoritative government databases.

We refresh data weekly. DA approvals and government contract awards are pulled directly from government portals on a regular cycle, so you're seeing recent activity, not 6-month-old records.

Every lead includes: company name, ABN, state and suburb, industry category, and data source. DA leads include the project description and estimated value. AusTender leads include the contract value and UNSPSC category. We only surface contactable leads (ones with a live phone or email on file), so each lead has somewhere to land.

Yes. All ABNs are cross-referenced against the Australian Business Register. We only include active, registered businesses, not dissolved or deregistered entities.

All Australian states and territories: NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, ACT, NT and TAS. Coverage depth varies by state depending on what government portals make available publicly.

A DA is a council application to build or renovate something: a new home, commercial development, renovation or subdivision. When a DA is approved, it means construction is about to begin. These are among the highest-intent leads available: someone has committed to spending money on a project and needs tradies, materials, and services right now.

AusTender is the Australian Government's procurement portal. It publishes every contract awarded to a business by a federal government agency. SalesM8 surfaces these contract winners: established companies actively doing government work, with real budgets and ongoing project needs.

Yes, done properly. All data SalesM8 aggregates is sourced from publicly available government portals, and numbers used primarily for business generally can't be listed on the Do Not Call Register. One caveat: sole traders sometimes run the business off a personal mobile, so check any number that could be private before dialling. SalesM8 stores only the data published by government sources: business names, ABNs and publicly listed contact details. We do not collect or sell personal consumer data. Our privacy policy explains exactly what we store and how we handle your account data.

All data is stored on Australian servers (Sydney region) via Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database provider. We do not store data offshore.
